In our clinic, we act according to the needs and desires of our patients when making a decision. If our patient has prominent relaxation and sagging problems, we prioritize thread lifting methods. If there are significant hollows and depressions in the fat pads, filler applications should be our priority. However, in some cases, a combination of both techniques may be necessary.

What happens after thread lifting?

In our clinic, we use absorbable cog PDO threads. Thanks to the threads that dissolve within 3 weeks, collagen synthesis, increased elasticity, and brightness in the skin begin to be observed. For the first 3 days after the procedure, we implement a corset application, wearing it only at night on the following days. For a week, we add anti-edema and pain-relieving medications.
Of course, compared to surgery, there may be much more minimal edema and bruising. Small dimples that will completely resolve later may appear due to the pulling effect of the threads.
The effects begin immediately after the procedure and settle in the first month. The duration of effect is a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years, depending on the person's age and skin quality. Any treatments we apply to our skin during this period also extend the lifespan of the threads.

Will my skin sag more once the threads dissolve?
