Under-eye light filling? Under-eye mesotherapy?
Periorbital hollows and color changes can be considered as dark circles under the eyes. This is a condition that can aesthetically disturb our clients.
Dark circles under the eyes can have various causes. The most common reason is the loss of fat tissue around the eyes, which leads to the appearance of dark circles and a tired look. In this case, there is actually no color change in the skin; instead, it appears dark and sunken due to the loss of the underlying fat tissue. Hyaluronic acid fillers can provide immediate improvement under the eyes. The key point here is to choose specially developed thin filler materials suitable for the under-eye area. Minimal swelling may occur. The filler will fully settle within an average of 15 days, and its positive effects can last for about 1 to 1.5 years.
Another cause of dark circles under the eyes is genetic or racial factors that lead to pigmentation in darker skin tones. In this case, hyaluronic acid fillers are not appropriate. We can opt for pigmentation mesotherapy, laser treatments aimed at pigmentation, and home treatment products that regulate circulation around the eyes.
For patients who have hollowness in the under-eye area and are not suitable for filler treatment, we prefer hyaluronic acid-based mesotherapies. Our goal here should be to fill the hollows without causing puffiness and to lighten dark circles with peptides that support circulation.
Dark circle treatment should be tailored to the individual. While some problems can be easily treated in a single session, in some cases, ongoing treatment may be necessary monthly or every six months. The aim should always be to improve the existing condition, even if we cannot completely reset it.
